This homeowner brought us in to revamp this fiberglass shower stall into a lovely, expanded tile shower. The back side of the existing shower was used as a linen closet in the hallway, so we were able to grab some additional square footage for the shower by resizing that hall closet and re-using the existing wire shelves. The finished shower has a sliding glass entry, updated fixture, a convenient step, as well as a built-in niche.

For this shower, we began with demo, reframed the closet / shower wall, & re-centered the drain for the new shower footprint. Once the rough-in was complete, we patched up our drywall, added tile backerboard, & began our shower pan build up. Once the shower was fully waterproofed, we began with our wall tiles, as the niche accent tiles were delayed. With a quick install of the new glass entry, this shower was complete, and the homeowners are pleased!
