Walk-in pANTRY
Spacious | organized| Natural
As part of their larger kitchen remodel, this couple decided to update their walk-in pantry, which sat out of site & out of mind. The previous use of the space was essentially one shelf with floor space to hide bulk groceries behind a door. When we discussed ideas for this makeover, they wanted the space to have much more functional storage with beautiful appeal.
We removed the shelf, all of the existing trim, & tore out the laminate flooring before patching drywall & laying down new cement board for tile. A fresh coat of paint instantly cleaned the look of the pantry, then we began by installing a slate-like tile, ensuring full access to the crawl space with folding handles. A large base cabinet, two floating shelves, & a shelving tower were all constructed, stained, & sealed on site. This new pantry is immensely capable & wonderfully appealing.
