Yes. Not every project requires a general contractor, & if you're looking for the most affordable way to remodel your home, there are tremendous resources available online for you to learn how. If you prefer to hand over the work to a professional, you are paying for the experience of a project manager & all the vendors involved who can seamlessly bring your vision to reality.
What makes lucid different?
There are countless horror stories from homeowners having awful experiences with contractors, most commonly; terrible communication, projects dragging on for months / years, & disorganized contractors letting details slip. I've made these concerns my top priority, in addition to the beautiful craftsmanship you expect, by striving to be... Trustworthy, Efficient, & Detailed.

What is the payment schedule for my remodel?
Each project varies depending on the scope of work, but typically, we will break your schedule into multiple progress payments. A sample payment schedule may look like…

Progress Payment #1 – After Demo / Framing
-
Progress Payment #2 – After Rough-In (Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC)
-
Progress Payment #3 – After Trim (Flooring, Drywall, Paint, Trim)

Do you offer financing for remodels?
Yes, we are proud to offer financing for remodels through Hearth Financing. This option allows your project to begin sooner & you will be able to make monthly payments to Hearth, rather than waiting 6, 12, 18 months to save up for the project cost in full before starting.
Do you use cost-plus or fixed price contracts?
I prefer to use Fixed Price contracts, built from the bids provided by the professional subcontractors involved in your project. This gives you peace of mind knowing how much your project will cost, & that any cost overruns come out of my profit, without being added to your bill.
What if i make changes after the project starts?
If the changes are minor or do not affect the work that has already been completed, we may not need to adjust pricing at all. If the changes are major or require us to re-do work which was previously completed, there will be a Change Order, outlining the additional time & cost associated with the changes.
