Step 1: Get a List
  • List 1 = Email contacts

  • List 2 = Social media contacts

  • List 3 = Phone contacts


Step 2: Pick a Platform
  • Start with the platform you have the most contacts on (email, social, phone)


Step 3: Personalize your message
  • Use something you already know about the person to initiate reaching out to them ("Hey, saw you got a new job! Saw you moved...")


Step 4: Reach Out
  • Reach out to 100 people every day.


Step 5: Warm Them Up If They Reply
  • Acknowledge | Compliment | Ask


Step 6: Invite Their Friends
  • "Do you know anyone looking for..., I'm opening up a business to do just that."


Step 7: Make it Free
  • Make it free in exchange for three things

  1. You actually use my service

  2. You give me feedback

  3. Leave a killer review if you think it deserves one


Step 8: Start Back at The Top
  • Go through the list again to get free leads


Step 9: Start Charging
  • Once people start referring, you know you are good enough to start charging.

  • Change free to 80% off for the next 5 customers, then 60% for 5, then 40% for 5, then 20% for 5...


Step 10: Keep Them Warm
  • Check in on the list and continue to provide value
