What Are You Paying A GC For?

When you hire Lucid Development, we are the General Contractor for your new home or renovation project. After some brief internet research, you may believe your project should cost about 'X', but after receiving an accurate quote from a GC, your project now costs '2X'. Is the General Contractor ripping you off? Do you actually need a GC for your project?

When you partner with Lucid Development, this is what you are paying for...

Subcontractor Selection

  • Sourcing vendors, procuring bids, & assembling a team of licensed, insured, & reputable subcontractors.

Single Point of Contact

  • From the time you hire Lucid to the time you approve the finished basement, all communication (concerns, change orders, payments, scheduling, etc.) will all be handled directly through us. We oversee scheduling, ensure quality execution by each vendor, & issue payments to subcontractors.

Daily Project Management

  • We come to the site every morning to ensure vendors show up, have any questions answered, make sure the materials they need are on site, then leave to let them work without breathing down their necks. We also ensure the jobsite is left tidy every day so that you are not burdened with an inaccessible space during construction.

Experience & Professionalism

  • We believe you are entirely capable of running your own project with the given outline. You are paying for our experience to take the stress & unknown factors off your plate so that you only need to focus on the finished product you desire. Our attention to detail & pursuit of professionalism allows you to breathe easy knowing that we are holding every vendor & ourselves to the highest standard.

Warranty

  • We want you to love the look of your finished project, but we want you to love how it works even more. If you are not completely thrilled with your finished project, outside of standard wear & tear, we will stand by our workmanship for 365 days from the final payment.
